Transparent and equitable publication charges for IJDDPI
Current APC: Fully Waived
During the journal’s initial two-year publication period, all accepted manuscripts are published with no Article Processing Charge (APC).

The rates below are planned for after the launch-period waiver ends. They do not apply while the waiver is in effect. The following APC rates will apply to manuscripts accepted from 1 January 2028 onward, after the launch-period waiver ends on 31 December 2027.
APC After the Launch Period
The following proposed Article Processing Charge structure is for accepted manuscripts after the inaugural waiver period:

Percentage discounts are calculated on the US$500 international rate: US$250 for upper-middle-income countries, US$125 for lower-middle-income countries, and no charge for low-income countries.
Authors based in India pay the flat ₹10,000 rate. Country classifications follow the current World Bank income groupings.
Exceptional Waivers: The Editorial Board reserves the right to grant full or partial APC waivers in exceptional cases.
Fee Waivers for Authors from Low-Income Countries
In line with standard practice among international open-access journals, IJDDPI supports researchers with limited funding.
Full APC Waiver
For corresponding authors based in low-income countries, as classified by the World Bank / Research4Life Group A.
75% APC Discount
For corresponding authors based in lower-middle-income countries (Research4Life Group B).
How to Request a Waiver
Waiver or discount requests should be made at the time of submission by writing to editor@ijddpi.com .
Requests made after acceptance cannot be considered.
The ability to pay has no bearing on editorial decisions. Peer review is entirely independent of APC status.

As a matter of journal policy, IJDDPI recognises the service of its peer reviewers and editorial team through publication-fee waivers.

The waiver applies to one manuscript on which the editorial team member is the corresponding author.
Conditions for APC Waivers
- A waiver applies only to manuscripts accepted through the journal’s standard double-anonymised peer review.
- Earning a waiver has no bearing whatsoever on editorial decisions.
- Manuscripts authored by editors or editorial board members are handled entirely by an independent editor, with the author excluded from all editorial processes relating to their own submission.
- Waivers are personal and non-transferable.
- Waivers cover the Article Processing Charge only.
- Waivers are limited to one per person per calendar year.
- Waivers cannot be combined with other discounts.
- Waivers remain valid for 12 months from the date they are earned.
- Waivers should be claimed at the time of submission by writing to editor@ijddpi.com and quoting the relevant reviewer certificate number(s).
- The journal may amend or withdraw this programme at any time; waivers already earned will be honoured.
Editorial Independence
APC status, waiver requests, or ability to pay never influence the editorial or peer-review decision.
All manuscripts are evaluated according to the journal's standard editorial and double-anonymised peer-review process.
Launch-Period Note
During the journal’s launch period, the APC is fully waived for all authors.
Reviewer and editorial waivers earned during the launch period may be applied after the launch offer ends, subject to the conditions stated above.
