Editorial Policies

Peer Review

Every submission undergoes an initial editorial assessment followed by a rigorous, independent, double-anonymous peer-review process conducted by experts in the relevant discipline. Editorial decisions are based solely on scientific quality, originality, methodological rigour, ethical compliance, and relevance to the journal's scope.

Submissions by Editors and Editorial Board Members

Members of the editorial team and the editorial board may submit their own work to IJDDPI, and such submissions receive no preferential treatment whatsoever. When an Editor-in-Chief, editor, section editor, or board member is an author, that person is excluded entirely from the handling of the manuscript: they are given no access to the submission record, take no part in the selection of reviewers, and see neither reviewer identities nor reviewer correspondence.

The manuscript is reassigned to an independent editor who has no conflicting interest and no close working relationship with the authors, and that editor’s decision is final. The same double-anonymous review standard and the same acceptance thresholds apply as for any other submission. The identity of the handling editor is recorded so that the process can be audited if a question is ever raised.
