Publication Ethics

IJDDPI is committed to maintaining the highest standards of publication ethics and research integrity. Authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher are expected to adhere to internationally recognised ethical principles throughout the publication process. Allegations of plagiarism, duplicate publication, data fabrication, image manipulation, or other forms of research misconduct are handled in accordance with established ethical publishing guidelines.

IJDDPI follows the Core Practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). For research involving human participants or animals, the journal additionally applies the Recommendations of the International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), including their requirements on authorship, trial registration, and disclosure of interests.

Suspected misconduct is investigated using the relevant COPE flowchart. Authors are always given an opportunity to respond before any conclusion is reached. Where a concern is substantiated, the outcome may be a correction, an expression of concern, or a retraction; each is published, is freely accessible, and is linked to and from the original article so that the record remains transparent. Concerns may be raised with the editorial office at editor@ijddpi.com and are treated confidentially.
