Corrections, Retractions and Expressions of Concern

Maintaining the integrity and reliability of the scholarly record

IJDDPI is committed to maintaining the integrity of the scholarly record. Published articles are subject to appropriate post-publication action whenever significant errors or concerns affecting the reliability or interpretation of the work are identified.

Where an error is identified in a published article that affects the interpretation of the work but does not invalidate its findings, IJDDPI will publish a correction (erratum or corrigendum) linked to the original article.

Where there is clear evidence that the findings are unreliable as a result of major error, fabrication, falsification, plagiarism, duplicate publication, or unethical research, the article will be retracted in accordance with COPE Retraction Guidelines .

Where an investigation into suspected misconduct is ongoing or inconclusive, IJDDPI may publish an expression of concern to alert readers to potential issues affecting the reliability or integrity of the published work.

Authors' Responsibility

Authors who identify a significant error in their own published work are expected to notify the Editorial Office promptly so that the matter can be assessed and, where necessary, appropriate corrective action can be taken.
