Informed Consent

Studies involving human participants must have been conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki and approved by an appropriate institutional ethics committee. Written informed consent must be obtained from all participants (or their legal guardians), and a statement to this effect must appear in the manuscript. Identifying information must not be published unless the participant has given explicit written consent.
