Self-Archiving and Repository Policy

Supporting immediate, unrestricted access and long-term dissemination of published research

As a fully open access journal, IJDDPI permits and encourages authors to deposit all versions of their work in appropriate repositories and online platforms without embargo.

Permitted Versions for Deposit

Preprint

Submitted Version

Authors may deposit the submitted version of their manuscript, including on institutional or subject repositories and appropriate preprint servers.

Postprint

Accepted Manuscript

The accepted manuscript may be deposited immediately following acceptance, without any embargo period.

Version of Record

Final Published Version

The final published version should be used wherever possible and may be deposited without restriction or embargo.

Where Authors May Deposit Their Work

Institutional Repositories University or research-institution repositories.
Subject Repositories Repositories relevant to the author's research discipline.
Preprint Servers Recognised platforms for sharing pre-publication research.
Personal or Funder Websites Authors may also deposit their work on personal or funder websites.

No Embargo

All permitted versions may be deposited without embargo. Authors do not need to wait for a specified period before making their work available through repositories, preprint servers, personal websites, or funder platforms.

Citation and Linking Requirements

Any deposited version should:

  • Cite the article as published in IJDDPI.
  • Where possible, use the final published version.
  • Include a link to the article on the official IJDDPI journal website.
Licence: Deposited and published content should be shared in accordance with the CC BY 4.0 licence.
