Complaints and Appeals

Authors who believe an editorial decision on their manuscript was based on a misunderstanding, factual error, or procedural irregularity may submit a reasoned appeal in writing to the editorial office at editor@ijddpi.com within 30 days of the decision. Appeals are considered by the Editor-in-Chief (or, where the Editor-in-Chief handled the original decision, by another senior editor not involved in it), and the outcome of an appeal is final. Complaints about editorial processes, publication ethics, or the conduct of editors, reviewers, or the journal itself may be sent to the same address; they will be acknowledged within seven working days and investigated in line with COPE guidance. Complainants who remain dissatisfied with the journal's response may refer the matter to COPE.
